5 Week Update and Pics

We've all had a very busy week here.  Between Halloween on Monday and Sergio coming home on Wednesday, its been a full week for us.

But such a good week!

I've been so excited for Sergio to see the pups.  He's been gone since before they arrived, and he's been dying to get back to meet them.

Here's Calpurnia (pink collar) relaxing before the trick-or-treat guest arrive.

The pups are growing day by day.  There are days I think I can actually see them grow from morning to Most of the time Scout continues to feed the pups in the whelping box, but one morning I came in to find them all in her crate together...tight quarters indeed!

Here's Atticus aka Titan who now has a permanent home with the Moore family and will be named Gunner.  Such a pretty boy with a great nose.

Ian with our little girl Miss Maudie Mae.

This little female is Finch (blue collar).  She is very active and so smart.  She was the first female to begin responding to whistle calling.  She's strong and did very well during her temperament test.

This is little Calpurnia (pink collar).  She has the biggest eyes and a sweet, sweet little personality.  She's petite and has a very soft mouth.  She also was very submissive of the black females during her temperament test.

And the big boy...Radley aka Tank.  He's been chosen by Rachel and Corey and named Archer!  Love that name.  Archer continues to be the biggest, rolly-polliest puppy in the litter.  He's extremely laid back,  but comes when called and loves being outdoors.

This is Jem (green collar), one of the black females.  She is very active and plays and plays and plays.  She's always the last to go to sleep and likes to sleep on the very top of the puppy pile.  She did very well on her temperament test and is Wyatt's favorite.

This little dude is Tate (red collar) who is now going to be called Fritz (I think, right Whitney?).  He is strong and stocky with a great looking head and floppy ears.  He's so smart and comes when called or on whistle.  He did well on his temperament test and has a soft mouth.  He is the biggest of the two black males.

Look at those white tipped toes!  This black male is Harris (black and white collar).  He's the smaller of the two black males and is the most submissive.  But he has a better nose than his twin brother.  He and his sniffer always find themselves near the chicken coop.  Getting a good jump on tracking practice Harris!

---------

If you were keeping track, that leaves two pups left.  A black female and a black male.  If you are interested, please give us a call 757-689-4892 or email esanpedro1(at)cox(dot)net.

Thanks ya'll!
