Active and Outside

With the last few days being sunny and a bit warmer, Scout and the puppies have been able to go outside a lot more.  All are enjoying the time together greatly.

The weaning process continues to go well and I think being outside really wears the puppies out and makes them ready for a nap when they come inside.

From left to right, Gunner, Valor, Tate and in the back with the green collar is Jem.

Valor and her brother, Tate.

Jem, nose to the ground.

Pretty, pretty Maudie Mae.

Valor relaxing in the sunshine.

Hoping to catch a snack on the go from mama Scout.

Archer investigating one of the boys' socks.

Archer and Scout, nose to nose.

Wyatt with Jem and Kai.

When the pups get a bit rough Scout either gives the perpetrator a spit bath or puts her big paw on them.

Calpurnia, nose to the ground.

It has been a real joy watching them each come into their own.  But even more fun has been seeing how Scout interacts with them.  She has really started to enjoy playing with them and you can see her begin to teach them how to "be good dogs".

We continue to work on calling them to come and will begin to transition them to pottying more and more outside.  They are doing so well...such smart puppies!!!

We have two pups left, a black male and a black female.  I've had several serious calls or emails in the past 48 hours.  So, if you are serious about one of these pups, please put your deposit down ASAP and give me a call to let me know its on the way.

Yay for sunshiny days spent outside...which means less poop for me to have to clean up in the whelping area.  Woohoo!
